❤️ Two Contests + this weeks best valentines events

Hey Halifax!

We’ve got two great contests running right now that you need to know about:

1. Dine Around to Win Beer For a Year: use our free digital passport to discover amazing Dine Around menus, and check-in to restaurants to earn entries. Grab a free Burnside x Halifamous pint glass after your 3rd check-in! Register here.

2. Win a Free 10-Week DJ or Music Production Course from MixAcademy, Halifax’s only in-person DJ school. Donate meals through The Nooks amazing Meal Token program to feed hungry Haligonians to earn bonus entries. We’ve already have 40 meals donated - can you help us hit our goal of 100 this week?

Now, let’s dig into what’s happening in Halifax this week. We’ve got tons on the go this week, including a bunch of great Valentines Day shows.

Dine Around is back, and we’ve teamed up with Burnside to create a digital passport to help you explore the amazing prixe fix menus from over 125 restaurants taking part.

1. Register your passport.

2. Check in to restaurants all month to earn entries into our grand prize draws.

3. Earn a free Halifamous x Burnside pint glass after 3 check-ins.

2 Grand Prize Draws:
🍻 Beer For a Year from Burnside Brewing
🎟️ Tickets to the sold out Rankin’s Winter Warmers finale in March

❤️ We Are Young’s Valentines Day Campaign ends tomorrow. $12 sends hand-crafted Rousseau chocolates and a note to a senior in the community. This is one of our favourite local campaigns every year. They have 650 to go to hit their goal by tomorrow - let’s help them get there. Goal: 1,500 by Feb 13. Donate now.

Jon Bryant has consistently been one of the most streamed Atlantic Canadian artists over the past two years. His new single, Never Not, released last week and it’s the most upbeat and East Coast we’ve ever heard him. This song is a banger - add it to your playlists immediately.
