This Week In Hali

1️⃣ Our pick for can’t miss music this week is Mat Hughes w/ guest Adina at The Music Room on Dec 6. Mat is a piano virtuoso and his latest album South-Facing Dumpster is a super catchy, upbeat collection of pop-folk tunes that will sound incredible in this room. Adina is one of the most in demand vocalists in the province, and she absolutely tore the roof off her NSMW showcase last month. There are only 20 tickets left, so grab yours and don’t miss this show!

2️⃣ Halifax’s Christina Black and her team from the Halifax Curling Club had a killer run at the Canadian Olympic Curling Trials last week in Halifax - falling just short against 2x Olympian and 3x World Champ Rachel Homan in the final.

3️⃣ Dickens’ A Christmas Carol is playing at Neptune Theatre through Dec 28, and their The Wizard of Oz (which is incredible) has been extended through January. Go catch a show!

4️⃣ Symphony Nova Scotia’s The Nutcracker is playing through December 14.

5️⃣ Evergreen Festival continues this week on the waterfront with their holiday market, live music, Public Gardens Holiday Lights and Merry & Bright Patio. Lot’s of fun holiday experiences for all ages. More info here.

Wow. You need to hear these ridiculously soulful vocals from the incredible Adina. Catch her on Dec 6 with Mat Hughes at The Music Room.
