Cape Bretonās Goldie Boutilier is the biggest Atlantic Canadian music success of 2025, and itās not even close. With over 1.3 million monthly Spotify listeners, sheās been selling out shows across the US and Europe all year. Kelly Clarkson covered one of her songs on network television in March. John Legendās longtime manager manages her. And earlier this month, she performed at the first-ever GRAMMY House NYC.
Goldie is on a fast track to becoming a bona fide indie pop star. And sheās playing the TD Halifax Jazz Festival on July 18. She may even be the biggest draw of the festival.

HAVOC is becoming Halifaxās canāt-miss skateboarding festival, and itās happening July 3-4. Teams of 3-6 members compete in a āKing of the Roadā style skate competition at the Halifax Commons Skate Park on July 5, with tons of great music programming in the days leading up it at Gusā Pub and The Hub, as well as a killer afterparty at Propeller Arcade.
