Greg

Halifax legend Skratch Bastid returns to The Marquee for CRUNKMAS on Boxing Day, and this year he’s coming home with some extra hardware. Fresh off being named a DMC Hall of Fame inductee and officially honoured as a DMC Legend at the 40th anniversary celebrations in Tokyo, he’s solidified his status as one of the biggest hip hop DJs on the planet. Between headlining global events like Red Bull BC One World Finals, touring clubs from Seoul to London, and running his own Bastid’s BBQ parties around the world, CRUNKMAS is a rare chance to catch one of the East Coast’s elite musical exports at home.

Instead of one song of the week, we thought we’d share Music Nova Scotia’s excellent Holidays In Nova Scotia playlist. It’s packed with great holiday tunes from Tim Baker, Rose Cousins, Reeny Smith, Breagh Isabel, Villages, Kayo, and more.
