🔥 Free Weezer tickets + Food For The Ears weekend
Halifamous Raffles is live, the Echo Podcast Summit + Shore Club's summer lineup.

Hey Halifax!
This week at Food For The Ears, we’re launching Halifamous Raffles, a new way to help the people building culture in Nova Scotia to create more impactful campaigns and experiences that raise real money. We’re building the NS-approved, fully compliant fundraising tech non-profits need, and stacking it on top of our custom contesting, content production, and audience to create bigger and better fundraising and awareness campaigns.
If you’re involved in events, non-profits, or sponsorships - hit reply and we’ll give you the full scoop!
Otherwise, this week we’ve got Food For The Ears, Atlantic Canada’s biggest podcast summit, HUFF’s 2026 lineup announcement, and a whole bunch more happening this weekend.
Let's dig in 👇
Food For The Ears · Fri + Sat · Alderney Landing Food For The Ears is here. So is Halifamous Raffles. Two nights, twelve acts, and a live 50/50 to help build an incredible music-led non-profit tackling food insecurity in NS. What started as a Truro high-schooler's food-bank fundraiser is now Halifax's biggest grassroots music-for-hunger festival, and this year it goes outdoors for the first time: two nights at Alderney Landing, this Friday and Saturday. Advance tickets are $40 Friday, $55 Saturday, or $75 for the full weekend. The lineup
It's also the first campaign on Halifamous Raffles: buy into the live 50/50 (drawn Saturday at 10 PM on site) or enter the free draw for a pair of Weezer tickets at Halifax Music Fest, upgraded to Premium if you're there in person when you win. |
Podcast Summit · Thursday June 18 Atlantic Canada's biggest podcast event is landing in Halifax. Podstarter is bringing Acast, Amazon Music, CBC, and YouTube to town for a one-day conversation on the future of podcasting. In 2018, Rhys Waters turned his back on a career in prime-time BBC TV and started a podcast company in Halifax. Now his company, Podstarter, is bringing some of the biggest names in audio to the city.
The summit runs Thursday, June 18. For anyone making a show, thinking about starting one, or trying to understand where audio is going next, this is a rare chance to hear from the platforms shaping the industry without leaving Halifax. |
The Shore Club, Hubbards The Shore Club's summer is stacked. The legendary Hubbards dance hall's summer music season is already in full swing, and the lineup is stellar. Plan your road trips!
