Halifax Mooseheads vs Newfoundland Regiment

Newfoundland's offence too much for Halifax at home

Newfoundland jumped out early and the Mooseheads couldn't claw back in a 7-4 loss at Scotiabank Centre on Wednesday. The Regiment built a lead through the first two periods and Halifax's fourth-line energy in the third wasn't enough to close the gap. The Herd managed just enough offence to stay competitive on the scoreboard but the defensive breakdown early proved costly against a hungry Newfoundland team.
