Halifax Mooseheads vs Newfoundland Regiment

Newfoundland Regiment tops Mooseheads 5-2 at home

The Regiment got out early and the Moose couldn't climb back. Newfoundland built a lead through two periods and Halifax's offense managed just enough to make it respectable, but the five-goal margin tells the story of a team that couldn't match the visitors' pace at Scotiabank Centre. The Herd stayed competitive down the stretch without ever threatening a comeback.
