Halifax Mooseheads vs Moncton Wildcats

Mooseheads Fall to Moncton in Shootout Drama

The Mooseheads couldn't finish the job against Moncton in a 4-3 shootout loss at Scotiabank Centre on Saturday night. Halifax tied it late and pushed the Wildcats to extras, but couldn't convert in the shootout despite strong goaltending. Oleg Kulebyakin scored in the third period to keep the Herd alive, but the team managed just enough chances to force the skills competition and not enough to win it.
