Using the Site

• Our event listings, guides, and articles are provided for general information. We work to keep details accurate, but venues and organizers change things — confirm times, prices, and age restrictions with the venue before heading out.
• Don't misuse the site: no scraping at scale, interfering with how it operates, impersonating others, or using it for anything unlawful.

Accounts

If you create an account, give us accurate information and keep access to your email secure — we use it to sign you in. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Contests & Giveaways

Free contests and giveaways have their own rules, posted on each contest page. No purchase is necessary unless the contest page says otherwise. Winners are notified by email.

Raffles & 50/50 Draws

• Raffles promoted on Halifamous are conducted by the named charitable organization under a lottery licence issued by Nova Scotia's Alcohol, Gaming, Fuel and Tobacco Division. The licence number is displayed on each raffle page.
• Each raffle is governed by its official rules, available on the raffle page. If anything in these terms conflicts with a raffle's official rules or licence conditions, the official rules govern.
• Ticket purchases are processed at checkout.halifamous.ca, powered by Rafflify Ltd., a licensed electronic raffle supplier. Rafflify's own terms and privacy policy apply to its services.
• You must be 19 or older and in Nova Scotia to purchase tickets. Winners may be required to show ID to claim a prize.
• If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, call the Nova Scotia Gambling Helpline at 1-888-347-8888.

Our Content

Articles, photos, guides, and Halifamous branding belong to Halifamous or its licensors. Personal, non-commercial use is fine. Ask us before republishing or using our content commercially.
