Halifax Music Fest takes over Garrison Grounds at Citadel Hill this Friday and Saturday, and we're giving one subscriber the entire weekend. The prize is a pair of full weekend GA passes, good for both nights. We'll draw the winner today (Thursday, June 25) at 2 PM, so get your entry in ASAP this morning! The world's best are racing on Lake Banook over the next two weeks Lake Banook is one of the best sprint-paddling courses on the planet, and this summer it is hosting two ICF World Championships in a row - a first for Canada. It starts with the Masters World Championships, Thursday through Saturday (June 25 to 27), when 400-plus paddlers from around the world race the historic Dartmouth course. Then the main event: the Junior & U23 Worlds, July 1 to 5, with roughly 1,400 athletes. Combined, the two events are expected to bring around $11 million to the region.
