One of the city's top DJs, Okay TK has been holding it down in the local music scene for over 20 years — with guaranteed sell-out events like Bump & Grind and High School Mixtape. He's also the brains behind Buddy's Deli and Golden Service, one of Halifax's go-to mobile bar and catering companies. Oh — and he might be the funniest person on your feed. Meme king, community builder, all-around good guy. We love TK. Here's what he loves about Halifax.

I've recently been calling The Birds Nest Cafe on Barrington Street my second office. My actual workspace is just around the corner, but there's something about this cozy little spot that keeps pulling me back. Perfect for those 'I need caffeine and inspiration' moments.

I may be a bit biased, but High School Mixtape tops my list this month. It's one of those feel good events that I'm lucky to throw together. Collaborating with some of our talented local artists and musicians makes this event something special.
