Halifax folk/pop sister duo Moira & Claire have been releasing music for almost a decade — and singing together for even longer. They've grown into one of Atlantic Canada's most impressive acts, producing genuinely world-class pop folk that is starting to garner attention well beyond the region. Joining them are Postfun, Halifax rockers and kindred spirits, here to celebrate a brand new collaboration. We asked them both to share what they love about our city — and it turns out they agree on quite a lot.

It's our go-to spot for last minute grant-writing. It's open late! And they make a mean London Fog.
No better spot to spend all your savings on fancy coffee, and lock in upstairs with some headphones in. Staff are the freaking best, and having the Garrison drinks on tap, it makes for a great band meeting zone, morning or night.
Moira & Claire: Agricola street! It has some of our favourite bars, thrift stores, cafés, and cool shops. We like it so much it's the opening line of our new song, something (anything).
Postfun: Agricola Street for sure! Great street to walk the dog on. Lots of great bars, food spots, cafe's and a hub for creative folks. We recorded our last record on Agricola street with Braden Kamermans, and we try and bring the house down at Gus' Pub as often as we can. The street has meant a lot to us for quite some time. Echoing Moira & Claire, we love it so much we wrote a song about it!
