Workshop: Bandana Eco Printing

Thursday, October 22 | 6:00-8:00 PM Design your own organic cotton bandana with flower petals using a process called bundle dyeing. Bandanas are pre-treated and ready to receive colour. All supplies are provided, including flower petals collected from Susan’s own gardens. Susan has been eco printing and naturally dyeing for seven years. She has taken several classes and has dedicated much time to research and practice. This art form can seem very mysterious, but she hopes to make it feel less so. Over the years, Susan has learned about the plants and trees growing all around us. She has also learned how to use less water in dyeing, which is an important issue in the textile world.
