Live on Agricola: Gourmet Club + Bluebird

This week at Live on Agricola: Gourmet Club and Bluebird. Gourmet Club is the project of Canadian producer and songwriter Vincent Baur — gritty yet lush, a collage of sound and genre, with a debut album out August 7. Bluebird is a Halifax jazz group led by Eli Lubell (guitar) and Jolyne Dupuis Cormier (vocals), playing straight-ahead vocal jazz in the tradition of Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan, joined for this show by Johan Kjolbro on upright bass. Free, outdoors, 7–9 PM in the Carlo Auto lot on Agricola. Presented by Open Mic House with the North End Business Association.
