Creator data deletion

For creators who connected Instagram, YouTube or TikTok to Halifamous.

Check an Instagram confirmation code

If you removed Halifamous from Instagram, Meta gave you a confirmation code. Paste it here to see where your request stands.

What we store when you connect Instagram

Connecting is optional. It exists so you can see your own campaign results and so we can report them to the partner who paid for the campaign. When you connect, we keep:

  • Your Instagram user ID, username, display name, bio and profile picture
  • Your follower, following and post counts
  • A summary of your audience: the top cities and countries your followers are in, age ranges and gender split, and your reach over the last 30 days. Instagram only returns this for accounts with 100 or more followers, and only as ranges and totals, never individual people
  • A long-lived access token that lets us read those things on your behalf. It lasts 60 days and we renew it while your account is connected
  • Reach, likes, comments, saves and shares for the campaign posts you log with us. We do not pull insights for any other post

We never post on your behalf. We never read your messages or comments. We never see your password.

Two ways to delete it

  1. Disconnect in your dashboard. Sign in, open your creator dashboard and choose Disconnect. We discard our stored token straight away, clear your saved profile fields and audience summary, and stop reading anything from Instagram. Your username stays on the record so a reconnect maps to the same account.
  2. Remove the app inside Instagram. In Instagram go to Settings, then Apps and Websites, and remove Halifamous. Instagram sends our deauthorization callback, and we delete your Instagram connection and any stored token. If you request data deletion through Meta, its separate signed deletion request also returns a confirmation code and a status link back to this page.

Both routes also clear the reach, likes, comments, saves and shares we stored for your campaign posts. The post links themselves stay on the campaign record. Numbers already sent to a campaign partner in a finished report are not recalled.

YouTube

When you connect a YouTube channel we keep your channel ID, handle, name, profile picture, subscriber, view and video counts, the permissions you granted, an access token and refresh token, and the YouTube Analytics numbers (views, watch time, likes, comments, shares, viewer country and estimated city) for the campaign videos you log.

  1. Disconnect in your dashboard. We revoke our access with Google straight away and delete your stored YouTube data within 7 days.
  2. Remove access in your Google account. Go to Google's third-party access page and remove Halifamous. We check every connection at least every 30 days; once we see access is gone we delete your stored YouTube data within 30 days.

TikTok

When you connect a TikTok account we keep your TikTok ID, username, display name, avatar, follower, following, like and video counts, the permissions you granted, an access token and refresh token, and the views, likes, comments and shares for the campaign videos you log.

  1. Disconnect in your dashboard. We revoke our token with TikTok and delete your stored TikTok data.
  2. Remove the app inside TikTok. In TikTok's settings, remove Halifamous from the apps connected to your account. TikTok notifies us and we delete your stored TikTok data.

For both platforms the campaign video links stay on the campaign record; the numbers we read are deleted. Numbers already sent to a campaign partner in a finished report, with your consent, are not recalled.

Prefer to ask a person

Email hello@halifamous.ca from the address on your Halifamous account with the subject "Creator data deletion" and the platforms to delete. We confirm within 10 business days. This also covers your wider Halifamous account, which removing a platform connection does not touch.
