Thomas's second poetry collection looks at her identity as a Mi'kmaw woman and family member, including relationships with her parents, illness, memory, residential school trauma and reconnecting with her siblings. It also addresses Pretendians, arts funding cuts and the range of Mi'kmaw experience.
