Braden Lam

Braden Lam is a Halifax-based indie-folk artist who has quickly become one of the most compelling voices on the East Coast music scene. An 8-time Music Nova Scotia nominee and 6-time East Coast Music Award nominee, Braden released his debut album The Cloudmaker's Cry in April 2025 to critical acclaim.

In March 2026, Braden signed with Universal Music Canada — a major milestone that puts Halifax's music scene on the national map. He's currently on a 14-date national tour with School House, bringing his intimate songwriting to stages across Canada.
