Thursday, November 19 | 4:00-6:00 PM Use Japanese Indigo and resist techniques to create beautiful colour and patterns on fabric. We will use commercially prepared indigo, but will also take a look at Kath's home-grown indigo plant and the powered indigo she made from it, which is just not nearly as potent. Participants will take home their own cotton handkerchief creations. About the presenter: Kath Carey is a knitter, spinner, dyer, and farmer who is focused on how textiles go from earth to garment, using traditional tools and technologies. Reserve your space now!
