Pianists Louis Lortie & Illia Ovcharenko
Why we're hyped
Louis Lortie, who has made more than 45 recordings for Chandos, and 2022 Honens Prize Laureate Illia Ovcharenko play Liszt’s two-piano arrangement of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony at Halifax United Church. Cecilia says it is Lortie’s first Halifax appearance in over 40 years.
