John Allaire is one of Canada’s true independent road warriors—an award-winning songwriter, sharp-witted storyteller, and relentless live performer who averages 150+ shows a year. In 2026, he marked his 3,500th career performance with a run of sold-out shows, cementing his reputation as a must-see live act. This Eastern Ontario troubadour has been named winner of the Americana Songwriters’ Association Award (Nashville) for Lyricist of the Year and the Toronto Independent Music Award for Best Live Show.
