We are pleased to present a night of  Alternative Rock featuring a trio of bands  - idialedyournumber, Elora's Garden & Proud Dads - at The Carleton on Friday, June 5th. The amps will get cranked up at 8 PM and tickets are only $15 + HST. *** There will be standing room at this show, so get there early if you want to secure a seat *** My name is jessie (she/her), aka idialedyournumber. I'm an audio engineer, technology lover, fashion enthusiast, and very spontaneous person. Elora’s Garden is a dynamic, guitar driven Indie Alternative Rock band from Halifax. Inspired by 90's alternative and grunge, their music is characterized by their guitar forward, energetic tunes that range from in-your-face energy bordering punk to heart felt, bittersweet, upbeat tunes with brutally honest lyrics. Proud Dads merge emo and shoegaze to make a hybrid genre they call Sadgaze. The quartet from Halifax weaves intricate math rock rhythms with atmospheric post-rock soundscapes, blending vulnerable lyrics with cascading guitar work and dynamic time signature shifts, creating a dense, immersive experience that beckons listeners from their leather recliners into the depths of their music.
