Official Rules

Eligibility

• Must be 19 years of age or older
• Must be a resident of Nova Scotia, Canada
• Employees of Halifamous, Burnside Brewing, and participating restaurants are not eligible

Entry Period

• Check-ins available February 1-28, 2026
• Glass redemption available through March 31, 2026
• Prize draw will occur after February 28, 2026

How to Enter

• No purchase necessary to enter. Check-ins do not require a purchase—participants may visit a restaurant and check in without ordering.
• Register your digital passport at halifamous.ca/dine-around
• Visit participating restaurants and check in using the passport
• Maximum of 10 check-ins per participant (one per restaurant)
• Check-ins can be verified via GPS or honor system

Entry Structure

Entries are earned based on check-in count with escalating rewards for early visits:

• 1st check-in: 1 entry
• 2nd check-in: 2 entries
• 3rd check-in: 3 entries (also unlocks free pint glass)
• 4th-10th check-ins: 1 entry each
• Maximum base entries: 13 (from 10 check-ins)

Bonus Entries

Earn additional entries through the following bonus opportunities:

• Newsletter Subscription: Subscribe to the Halifamous newsletter for 1 bonus entry
• Burnside Partner Restaurants: Check-ins at designated Burnside partner restaurants earn 2x entries (double the normal entry value for that check-in)

Bonus entries are applied automatically when conditions are met.

Prizes

• Grand Prize: "Beer for a Year" from Burnside Brewing - one case of beer per month for 12 months (approximate retail value: $300 CAD)
• Second Prize: VIP tickets for two to the Winter Warmers Finale show (approximate retail value: $100 CAD)
• Participation Reward: Free Burnside Brewing pint glass for all participants who complete 3 or more check-ins (while supplies last)

Winner Selection

• Winners are selected by weighted random draw based on total entries earned
• Draw will occur within 7 days of the entry period closing
• Winners will be notified via email within 48 hours of the draw
• Winners must respond within 72 hours to claim their prize
• If a winner does not respond, an alternate winner will be selected

General Conditions

• Prizes are non-transferable and have no cash value
• By entering, participants agree to these Official Rules
• Halifamous and Burnside Brewing reserve the right to modify or cancel the contest at any time
• Participants must pick up their pint glass in person at Burnside Brewing (21 Frazee Avenue, Dartmouth)
• Pint glasses must be claimed by March 31, 2026

By registering, you consent to the collection and use of your information as follows:

• Your email address will be used to notify you if you win and for contest administration
• If you opt in, your email may be shared with Burnside Brewing for their marketing communications
• If you opt in to SMS notifications, your phone number may be used for promotional messages
